INTERFLOORS, inc. is importer/distributor, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with branch office in Hongkong, that imports floors and wall coverings, and another interior designs building materials, such as sinks, bathtubs, etc. for the residential and commercial projects in Western Canada. Products are manufactured in China and imported and warehoused in Vancouver, or direct shipped to it's customers across North America. My responsibilities are: manage Import purchasing department, analysing bids for price and quality qualifications, contracts formation, interpretation and contract law, direct order placement, coordinate L/C and TT payments, work with Chinese factories management to coordinate production and timely shipment, negotiate product costs and overseas ocean freight rates, arrange for testing samples and help in coordinating quality control issues, expedite production and order shipment as needed, work with factories to meet customer specific needs re testing and order preparation, coordinate with efforts of the design teams to arrange production of new lines. Staying in China around a couple months a year.

Company is the real estate developer in Alberta, British Columbia ( Canada ) and Mayan Riviera ( Mexico ) I've been responsible for outsourcing, purchasing the building materials, direct order placement in factories in China for CANTEX projects. Quality inspections, dealing with Chinese suppliers, the factories and their management, logistic ( shipments to Canada or to Mexico ). I was based in Vancouver and have been commuting to China on regular basis.

APT, inc. is a wholesale company, specializing in poultry and frozen meat export from USA and Canada to Russian Far East via Vladivostok and direct shipments to the Mainland China via Hong Kong. As APT, inc. team member I has organized and coordinated a distribution network on Russian Far East and North Eastern China markets, overseen the sales, import from the US to Russia and transit to the Chinese clients to Heilongjiang Province, negotiated the contracts and structured transactions with the buyers, managed office and sales team of 15 employees and office/cold storage facility of 10 employees.

Based in Far Eastern Branch office ( МВЭС РФ, Управление по Дальнему Востоку, г. Владивосток ) Duties included: export licensing, consulting in international trade, overseen the planning, development and implementation of wide range of projects related to international trade, economic development and investment, including trade missions, conferences and consultations, Asian markets analysis preparation.
